My link preview looks wrong

Change the title, description and picture people see when you share your link, or hide your page from Google.

When you send your link in iMessage, WhatsApp or X, they show a preview card. We make one for you from your name, photo and colors.

Change it

Go to Settings → Page & SEO:

  • Search & share title (up to 120 characters)
  • Description (up to 280 characters)
  • Share image to use your own picture instead of ours

Preview shows how it looks. Publish to update it.

Still showing the old one?

Apps save previews for a while. New chats usually show the new one. For an old chat, it may take a few days, or send the link with something added at the end, like ?v=2.

Hide from Google

Turn on Hide from search engines in Settings → Page & SEO. Search engines are asked not to list your page. It still works for anyone with the link.
