Backgrounds: colors, gradients, photos and video
Use a color, a gradient or a photo on Starter, or a looping video on Pro.

Go to Design → Background and pick a tab.
- Solid: one color.
- Gradient: colors blending into each other.
- Image: upload your own photo, press Search Unsplash for a free one, or Or pick one from our picks.
- Video (Pro): paste a direct link to an .mp4 or .webm file (under about 10 MB). It plays muted and on loop. Links to YouTube or TikTok pages won't work here, it has to be the video file itself.
Make text readable on photos
- Darken puts a dark layer over the photo (up to 80%).
- Blur softens it (up to 20 px).
Both only touch the background, never your text or buttons.
Texture and surface
Texture adds a subtle pattern (Dots, Grid, Lines, Grain, Scanlines, Halftone). Surface puts your blocks on a card, tiles, windows or a frame.
Visitors who turned on "reduce motion" on their device see your page without the video.
