Someone took my name
Handles are first come, first served. If someone uses your name or brand to pretend to be you, report the page as Pretending to be someone else and we'll look into it.
Publishing says a link is unsafe
When you publish, we check every link on your page against Google Safe Browsing. If one is on its list, publishing stops with These links are flagged as unsafe and the link.
What to do
- Remove or replace the flagged link.
- Press Publish changes again.
It's my own site!
Sites get flagged when they've been hacked or host something harmful, sometimes without the owner knowing. Check your site in Google Search Console and request a review there. Once Google clears it, you can publish the link.
Other links that won't save
Links have to start with https://, http://, mailto:, tel: or sms:. Code-like links (such as javascript:) are never allowed.
