Photos and uploads

Which pictures you can upload, how big they can be, and what we do with them.

What you can upload

  • JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 10 MB each.
  • Use them for your profile photo, Image and Gallery blocks, product pictures, link thumbnails and backgrounds.

Storage

The Free plan has 100 MB of uploads in total. Paid plans don't have this cap.

What we do to your photos

  • We make smaller copies so your page loads fast on any phone.
  • We remove hidden photo data (like the location where a picture was taken) before anyone sees it.

Free photos

For backgrounds, open Design, go to Background → Image and press Search Unsplash to pick a free photo. We credit the photographer for you.

Square photos work best for your profile picture. You can change its shape (circle, blob, arch and more) in Design → Profile picture.
